This course is an introduction to acrylic painting. Students will learn color theory, including the color wheel, primary–secondary relationships, and how to mix accurate hues, tints, and shades, with emphasis on painting simple objects and still-life arrangements to develop observation skills and an understanding of light, shadow, and form.
